FACS donors contribute to record-breaking campaign

The University of Georgia launched the Commit to Georgia Campaign with an ambitious goal of $1.2 billion by 2020. UGA donors responded by giving a record-breaking amount: $1.45 billion.

FACS donors did their part by enabling the college to surpass our $10 million campaign goal!

The numbers tell us this campaign was a success. But to us, the most important number is one – one donor at a time, making a decision to have an impact. Thank you to every one of you who made the decision to Commit to Georgia and to FACS.

Among the accomplishments FACS donors made possible are:

• 25 new endowed funds to provide opportunities to students and faculty;
• 8 new endowed professorships;
• 21 new Heritage Society members, who include FACS in their estate plans;
• 2,272 more of you became FACS donors.
