Hygiene Closet

The FACS Hygiene Closet, which provides a variety of free hygiene items for students to access as needed, launched in March.

The Hygiene Closet is a collaborative effort led by the Student Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (SAFCS), and supported by FACS and Embark UGA.

Embark, a UGA resource for students who have experienced foster care or homelessness, indicated the need for a hygiene closet during a meeting last fall.

The closet is located in a private restroom on the first floor of Dawson Hall.
